Kindergarten
Instructor : Shirin Vakily
This course is for children 3 to 6 years old. The students will develop listening and learning Farsi and writing the Alphabet and numbers. Vocabulary will be introduced on subjects related to children’s daily environment plus play games and sing songs. Previous knowledge of Farsi is not required.
First Grade (beginner)
Instructor : Atefeh Ahanchian
The students in this class are reading and writing Farsi for the first time. Some speak Farsi and some do not. My goal is to teach them writing and reading. We also read Farsi stories and play different games, related to Farsi language. We have a weekly quiz.
First Grade (advanced A)
Instructor : Zohreh Mostafavi
Goal is to learn a new letter every week and practice reading and writing new words and sentences with the introduced new letter. Each student will present a talk about Iran every week and all the parents are invited to our class during the presentation.
We have mid term on Oct. 12 and final test on Des. 14 on both reading and writing.
Parents , please check your children notebook for next week homework and check their spelling tests.
First Grade (advanced B) :
Instructor: Mahnaz Hessaraki
This class the students are more older than the 1st grade Advance A. Every week they learn a new letter, we practice reading and writing.We do spelling test, game, comprehension. Each student will do a presentation about Iran during the semester.
Second Grade
Instructor : Leyla Niese
In this class we focus on reading fluency, writing skills, grammer, comprehension and conversation.
Conversation (pre-1st grade)
Instructor : Shirin Vakily
This course will introduce the student to modern spoken Farsi (Persian). The students will be exposed to most everyday conversational needs and basic Farsi Vocabulary, simple sentence structure and basic grammar. Previous knowledge of Farsi is not required
